License Agreement

1. Grant of License

Scalovate Systems Solutions ("the Company") grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to download, install, and use QalamIDE ("the Software") for personal, educational, and commercial development purposes. The Software is free to download and use.

2. AI Component Usage

The AI-powered features of QalamIDE — including but not limited to AI Chat, Neural Autocomplete, AI Debugger, Auto-Architect, and Project Generation — require an active internet connection and a QalamIDE account. Usage of AI features is subject to the token limits and model access defined by your subscription plan:

• Community (Free): Access to standard AI models with limited monthly token usage.
• Architect ($30/month or $350/year): Access to all top AI models with higher monthly token allowance.
• Enterprise (Custom): Private deployment with your own AI models via vLLM.

AI component usage beyond the included token limits may be subject to additional charges or temporary suspension until the next billing cycle.

3. Core IDE Features

All core IDE features — including the code editor, file explorer, terminal, debug browser, RTL language support, and theme customization — are provided free of charge without limitation and do not require an active subscription.

4. Code Ownership

All code you create, generate, or modify using QalamIDE belongs solely to you. The Company makes no claim of ownership over any code produced through the Software, including code generated by AI features. AI-generated code is provided as-is without warranty.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software without written permission
• Use the Software to develop a competing AI-native IDE product
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software

6. Enterprise License

Enterprise customers receive a perpetual software license for the agreed number of seats. Enterprise deployments include the right to connect private AI models via vLLM. Annual support and update fees are separate from the license purchase. Professional Services for infrastructure setup are charged separately.

7. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. The Company may terminate this license if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies. Termination does not affect your ownership of code created using the Software.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Company does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
